“We must obey God rather than Men” Acts 5:29The truth is do we yearn to know God’s truth? Okay let me get to the point and that is, do we desire to love the Lord with all our heart and our entire mind? I’m sure deep down we do, as it is in our spiritual DNA, as we have desired to come out of the world.
But it’s all confusing; Christianity is so contradictory and confusing, that it seems that whatever I believe in it’s wrong according to this or that denomination.
Let me give you some peace, firstly God winks in our ignorance Acts 17:31, but commands us to repent. Now obviously this is about Sin, but this is what I like about God; he has you and me in the palm of his hand and is guiding us through our Christian walk.
He is not judging you each day with a clipboard and pen; he doesn’t make you do anything, he does not roll his eyes back and say “Gee not again”. We have to understand that God is love and to get rid of our schizophrenic view of God. We need to read about God’s love and that his son Yehuda is the fruit of the Spirit, love, peace, joy, merciful see John 3:16.
So, this is how it works, God speaks to us and he will impress something in our Spirit, now depending on where you are with your walk with God you will either do a few things. Either you will ponder on it, go to your bible and meditate upon it or you may just get down on your knees and pray about it. It may again appear in your dreams; you may be awakened through the night, this depends on the urgency of the situation.
Maybe God wants us to take a different direction or path? Where two or three are gathered, God is in the midst of us. Is that not love? What I want to get in your heads is that God is not punishing you and me because we don’t have the light on a particular subject. He is not punishing us because of your denomination and your denominations beliefs. God has you where you need to be. But what God wants, is for us to be not closed minded, to be open and free to study what has come to us and be not closed minded, to be like the Bereans. You see the unpardonable sin is rejecting the ‘Holy Spirit’, the comforter. This is what would annoy God; he has impressed upon our hearts through the Holy Spirit a particular ‘thought’.
Coming up in the next few articles, I would like us to be open minded as we go into a discussion around a topic that seems to have impacted Sabbath observers, the Creator’s Calendar or Man’s Calendar? Remember we are either Jew or Gentile and are one new man under God.
