It has occurred to me that we are heading backwards, with the rise of anti-Semitism from Europe and the hatred in the middle east of the Jewish state of Israel, it is no wonder why there is great tension in the world today. It is 2013 and we are on the verge of an apocalypse. Zechariah says the burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, says the Lord, which stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth will be gathered together against it (Zechariah 12:1-2).
Such a stark reality that the central focus will be on Jerusalem, this prophecy has yet to be fulfilled and it is a warning that should anyone come against it, this includes it Nations, will be cut into pieces. It goes onto say that the rider, although it metaphorically talks of horses will be struck with madness and smitten with blindness and those in ruler ship will say my strength is in the Lord our God.
Currently we are seeing an ethnic cleansing in Syria, under the rule of Basher al-Assad. We have Ahmadinejad ousted and a moderate cleric Rowhani who is to stem the tide in Iranian politics, but my opinion is it is just a diversion for the meantime, whilst the Iranian nuclear programme will still be going ahead in the background. The Ayatollah is still running the show and he has an agenda, but with Rowhani as his puppet the attention will be cleverly diverted.
The United Nations still will not recognise Hezbollah as a terrorist organisation, although at the time of writing this may have changed. They have been told to stay out of the conflict in Syria.
Hamas still continues today to send missiles into Southern Israel and use its own people as human shields and refuses to recognise Israel.
Finally the exit of Mohamed Morsi and the collapse of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt was such a shock, that whoever would have thought they would go over night. You can read in the scriptures in Isaiah chapter nineteen more about the future of Egypt.
Now all eyes are on Turkey. As the Obama administration is getting behind the Islamist government in Turkey, a number of world events are all allying with what the biblical prophets told. For those who take biblical prophecy genuinely, awaiting the return of Jesus, the events now developing in Turkey and the region – the days in which we are now living – are undeniably insightful.”
